LOCATION HIRE

The Lane is a bucolic exterior location for film and photographic shoots. It comprises a striking detached Grade II listed farmhouse with cowshed, cart barn and nissen hut. The original section of the house is weatherboard and dates from the 16th Century, nestling in 30 acres of quintessentially English countryside and situated close to the spa town of Tunbridge Wells.

The magical farm house and grounds are an hour and a half from London. The nearest train stations are Buxted or Tunbridge Wells. The exterior elevations also include an Arts and Crafts addition, with oriel window and beautiful oak front door. The kitchen is housed in a modern oak framed extension, floor to ceiling glass windows maximise the exceptional uninterrupted views over the High Weald.

Essentially this location has plenty of different areas of exterior interest (hut, potting shed, old cowshed outbuilding, fire pit, oak swing) and a variety of backdrops including various gates, railings, sheds, brick walls etc. There is a feeling of faded gentility running through its core.

There are loads of items which can be used as props ~ old books, paintings, jars, jugs, picture frames. Plus a vintage Morris Minor Traveller and a Massey Ferguson tractor by arrangement.

On the land there are sheep and cows too! There are 30 acres of land to explore with beautiful far reaching views. Ancient oak trees, wildflower meadows and assorted outbuildings. Settings that tell beautiful tales, capture hearts and spark the imagination. Being a stylist gives me a unique insight into what it takes to run a great location. Please get in touch for all the details and to discuss your brief.

The Lane has featured on two Country Living Covers, several Wildflower Magazine features and in Outdoor Living by best selling author and stylist Selina Lake.

My thanks to Sussie Bell , Georgia Furness and Julia Smith for their beautiful photography
